this is the first time i have used after effects.

After choosing the word navigation at random.

We was set the project to illustrator the word we had.

i didnt want to go down the path of doing maps which was the first idea.

in the end i went with the idea of navigation by the stars.

The idea i have far is to make a short stop frame film of

the typewriter wondering around the streets of london at

4am.

COMIC SANS DESTROY

Brief: I am to produce in the workshop, in 3D, the character lower j in comic sans.

One in wood and one more in any material.

The wooden one will be given in but the other as to be destroyed.

Got down to the workshop to start making my

lower case j in comic sans, and from past

experience its best to have our measurements

ready before you go down saves time.

I gave my measurements to the technician

and explained what it was i was doing.

He was extremely helpful.

INTERACTION WITH PAPER

This one day projects aim was to get as many

people as we could to interact with a plain

white paper A2, in groups of three.

As a group went with the idea of putting

'PUSH' and 'PULL' signs on the wrong side

of the college doors.

Brief: Design a badge about your passion.

This was one idea of what kind of badge I could make

about my passion typewriters.

there will be four badges and when you put them side

by side they read "I love typewriters" and the four

badges will be attached together by ink ribbon from

a type writer.

We have been put into groups of twos I am with Danny Wheeler.

100 LOGOS

First I was asked to design 100 logos that represents interaction on one A3 paper landscape.

The five main groups of logos which I researched was DNA, text emotions, the word interaction,

monkeys and the tides and the moon.

Here are the final 100 logos.

Then in groups of fives we chose each person best two

to develop. My group chose the monkey logo, typography

logos.

I have now chosen this logo out of the 21 typography logos

to develop into my final logo.

I have changed the text which was "interaction" to "U OK"

I think the word interaction was to simple and I wanted the

way that the text was designed to give that feel of interaction.

I have changed the text in the logo to "YOU OK?".

Here is my final logo on the billboard.

After I had presented my work i noticed that the question mark

was over crowded with lines and dots so when I got back to my

computer I redid the question mark.

Brief: In teams of three you are to make a presentation on things that you are individually passionate about.

I have decided to do two of my passions which the first is my type writer and the second my favourite band the lines. I am going to do a short video of my to chosen passions and give a talk along with the video
